Draw a whiteboard in your browser

Create diagrams, flowcharts and handwritten sketches with shapes, arrows and text. Your canvas saves to this browser. No account or file upload is needed.

  1. Choose a shape or the pencil, then drag on the canvas. Press V to select and move an item.
  2. Open the File menu to save an editable .excalidraw board. Use Open to import it again.
  3. Choose Export image for PNG or SVG. Keep the editable board as a backup.

How saving works

Autosave uses this browser's local storage and IndexedDB. Private browsing, clearing site data or using another device may remove or hide saved work. Export your board before switching browsers or moving from the previous Whiteboard site.

Limits and privacy

This edition has no accounts, remote collaboration, analytics or cloud sync. Network embeds and URL imports are unavailable. Large diagrams and images are limited by your device memory and browser storage. PDF export is not offered by the source browser editor.
