Choose the right tool
Start with your task, skip what you do not need
A workflow connects separate tools to finish a task. Follow the decisions that fit your starting material. Download and select files manually between tools; nothing is submitted to a portal for you.
What are you starting with?
-
Assignment material in images, PDFs or an editable draft
Prepare the content and assemble the required submission format. Skip conversion and merging if you already have one correct PDF.
-
An existing PDF that needs to meet upload requirements
Check unwanted pages, multiple outputs and file size, in that order. If it already meets the requirements, go straight to final verification.
-
Photographs or scans of notes
Check image legibility and order, perform only necessary cleanup and create an image-based PDF. No OCR is included.
-
A draft with a length requirement
Identify the counting convention, check the relevant portions and review basic mechanics. Skip character or readability checks when they do not answer your question.
-
Marks, course points, semester results or a future exam target
Choose a calculation from the records available. Obtain missing rules or weights instead of treating every academic record as interchangeable.
Which document workflow is the right starting point?
PDF upload preparation starts with PDFs. Notes preparation starts with photographs. Assignment preparation handles a broader mix of content and any relevant writing checks. You may join another workflow at a later step, but do not repeat an operation you have already completed.
Already know the one operation you need?
Go directly to a topical guide or the full tool directory. A workflow is useful when the order or choice of operations is unclear; it is not a requirement to use several tools.
Put the choice into practice
Worked example
- Starting point
- One readable PDF already has all required pages and is below the portal's stated size limit.
- Decision and expected result
- Skip Image to PDF, PDF Merger and PDF Compressor. Open the file, confirm its content and filename, then submit it through your portal and check the receipt.
What this does not guarantee
- Requirements come from the user's destination, not from this site.
- These pages provide decisions and links, not automatic file transfer or portal submission.
- Keep originals and manually verify each final output.
