Licences and third-party notices

The editor

OpusDesk Hub Video Studio is a modified distribution of Omniclip 1.1.3 by zenkyuv and contributors, used under the MIT licence. The original copyright notice is kept in full below and in the LICENSE file shipped with the source.

Modifications in this distribution: product branding and interface, removal of the analytics and WebRTC collaboration subsystems, local vendoring of previously CDN-hosted runtime assets, project storage moved to product-scoped keys, and assorted correctness fixes. The editing engine itself — timeline, compositor, media handling and export — is retained.

Fonts

Poppins — Indian Type Foundry, SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. Bundled as WOFF2 for the interface and default text rendering.

Nippo — SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. Bundled as WOFF2 for timeline chrome.

Noto Emoji — Google, SIL Open Font Licence 1.1. Bundled so emoji render inside text overlays.

Each font's licence file ships alongside it in the source tree under omniclip-main/assets/fonts/.

Video and audio codecs

FFmpeg encoder core — a controlled local GPL build with GPL codec components. The core is not the original registry binary. Corresponding source, build instructions and exact component notices are supplied by the integrated Tools licence materials. It supports local audio muxing; no media is uploaded.

web-demuxer (1.0.1) — MIT, with an FFmpeg WebAssembly build under the LGPL. Used to read compressed video packets while exporting.

ffprobe-wasm (0.3.1) — MIT. Used to count frames.

MediaInfo (mediainfo.js 0.3.2) — BSD-2-Clause. Used to read duration, frame rate and dimensions on import.

Libraries

PixiJS 7.4.2, pixi-filters 5.3.0, @pixi/graphics-extras 7.1.4, @pixi-essentials/object-pool 1.0.1, @pixi-essentials/bounds 3.0.0, @pixi-essentials/transformer 3.0.2 — MIT. The preview compositor and its transform handles.

Lit 2.x — BSD-3-Clause. @benev/slate and @benev/construct — MIT. Application framework and component model.

Shoelace 2.20.0 — MIT. Form controls in the properties panels.

gl-transitions 1.43.0 — MIT. The GLSL transition shaders.

GSAP 3.12.5 — standard "no charge" GSAP licence. @zip.js/zip.js 2.7.54 — BSD-3-Clause.

es-module-shims 1.8.2 — MIT. Audio and video element handling, waveform display and MP4 box parsing use wavesurfer.js 7.7.5 (MIT), mp4box 0.5.2 (BSD-3-Clause) and web-demuxer.

Removed upstream components

posthog-js was removed and is no longer initialised, bundled or emitted.

sparrow-rtc and opfs-tools were removed together with the WebRTC collaboration subsystem they served.
